Food jams

Dry kibble 2-18 mm (manual troubleshooting: under 0.7 in); no canned or wet food. Clean out any food stuck in the outlet.

How to reset it

Select the Reset icon on the dial menu. The manual doesn't give the button action or hold time.

What a reset erases: Feeding plan; the device then restarts (manual's icon description).

Setting it up

  1. Press the buttons on both sides to open the tank and take out the bowls and accessories.
  2. Lift the feeder and push the plastic bowl holder into the slot underneath until it clicks.
  3. Lay it on its side, plug in the power cord, and optionally fit 3 D batteries as backup (not included).
  4. Optionally insert a new or formatted TF card (up to 128 GB; recording only works on adapter power). Fill with dry kibble 2-18 mm, put the desiccant in its box and set the steel bowls on the holder.
  5. Hold the dial 3 seconds to unlock: rotate to choose, click to confirm, double-click to go back. Set the clock, then feeding plans (up to 10).
  6. Install the oneisall app, turn on phone Bluetooth, add the feeder, choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password (the Wi-Fi icon flashes while it searches).

Cleaning

The manual says to clean regularly but gives no steps. Never immerse the base and keep the unit away from damp areas. Wipe a blurry lens with a soft cloth. For replacement desiccant, email support. No dishwasher statement.

Power and batteries

5 V 2 A adapter plus 3 D batteries as backup (not included). On batteries the TF-card recording stops and the card and power icons go off, and a beeping alarm sounds when the batteries run low.

Wi-Fi and the app

Wi-Fi with Bluetooth-assisted setup in the oneisall app. Dual cameras give live view, screenshots, recording and two-way talk. The earlier spec check recorded 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The manual doesn't describe offline behaviour.

Warranty

Standard 2-year warranty (excludes used items, unauthorised sellers, consumables). Support: support@oneisall.com, +1 877-522-8578 (US, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm PST), plus in-app chat.
