How we research

This site is a research publication. We don't run a lab and we don't claim to have tested feeders ourselves. Here is what we do instead.

Which feeders we cover

We start from every automatic cat feeder listed in Amazon's automatic cat feeder category and the searches shoppers actually use. We drop accessories, gravity feeders without electronics, water fountains and duplicate listings, and merge colour and pack-size variants into one product.

How specs are checked

A spec appears on this site only after we find it on the brand's own product page or manual. Each one links to its source. If a brand doesn't state something, we leave it blank rather than guess, and the feeder won't match that filter in the finder.

Prices

Prices come from Amazon in your country, refreshed every few hours, and always show the time they were last checked. We don't track price history.

What we don't do

We don't show Amazon star ratings or review counts, we don't accept payment for placement, and we don't write "we tested" when we didn't.
