Food jams

Not a kibble dispenser: a rotating lid reveals one of three wet-food sections. It stays open 30 minutes by default (adjustable), and a safety sensor keeps it open while the pet is still eating. The FAQ links rotation faults to foreign objects or ice build-up in the cooling compartment. Ice is normal because it cools about 13 C below room temperature; the fans stop below 12 C.

How to reset it

Press and hold the Reset button on the back, beside the power port, for 3 seconds.

What a reset erases: Not stated by PETLIBRO.

PETLIBRO also uses this reset in its troubleshooting for 'Refrigeration Abnormality' and for a status light that stays off.

Setting it up

  1. Place it on a level surface with both side cooling vents clear, then plug in the 12 V adapter; the status light flashes white.
  2. Optionally fit 3 AA batteries in the base as backup (not included).
  3. Install the PETLIBRO app and add the feeder on a 2.4 GHz network (5 GHz isn't supported).
  4. Press the top-lid release button, lift out the 3-section food bowl and fill each section up to the MAX line. Let hot food cool to room temperature first.
  5. Put the bowl back carefully, set a schedule for each wet-food meal in the app (each meal up to 72 hours ahead), then close the top lid. Don't open the lid or change food after saving plans.

Cleaning

End all feeding schedules first. Wash the food bowl with water and wipe it dry. Release the latch to remove the rotating section lid, rinse it and wipe it dry. Wipe the feeding and refrigeration zones with a dry towel only, and clean the gap between the rotating lid and top lid. Clean pet hair from the air inlet every 7 days. Never immerse the base. Condensation under the feeder is normal. No dishwasher statement.

Power and batteries

12 V 5 A adapter (AC 100-240 V input) plus 3 AA batteries as backup (not included). Backup only works during a power cut: cooling stops, but the feeding schedule for the next 12 hours runs as normal. Remove batteries when unplugging for long periods.

Wi-Fi and the app

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (PETLIBRO app). PETLIBRO doesn't say whether saved schedules run during a Wi-Fi outage for this model.

Warranty

12 months per the manual (the earlier spec check recorded 24 months on the current product page). Support: support@petlibro.com.
