Food jams

Not a kibble dispenser: two lidded bowls for wet, fresh or soft food. A lid that opens on schedule closes automatically after 20 minutes, and the product page says it stops closing on resistance. Don't fill bowls past 80%, or food presses against the lid.

How to reset it

Within 20 seconds of powering on, hold + and - together for 5 seconds; the feeder beeps 3 times and resets.

What a reset erases: Not stated by UAHPET.

Setting it up

  1. Place it against a wall with at least 10 cm (4 in) clear on both sides, without blocking the air inlet or outlet, indoors at 59-95 F (15-35 C). Avoid soft surfaces.
  2. Plug in the supplied 12 V adapter; the feeder turns on and goes to standby.
  3. Set the clock first: press the left setting button, set the hour, minutes and day of the week with + and -, confirming each with the left setting button.
  4. For each bowl (left and right setting buttons), set MEAL 1 and MEAL 2: hour, minutes (30-minute steps), day cycle, and ON. The two meals can't share the same time.
  5. Open a lid with its lid button, add fresh food to no more than 80% of the bowl and close it fully. UAHPET suggests one manual feeding before relying on schedules.
  6. Optional: press the record button, speak (up to 10 seconds, 10-15 cm from the mic), and press again to save a meal call.

Cleaning

Unplug first. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth and never rinse or immerse it. The stainless bowls can be rinsed and are dishwasher-safe. Wipe condensation from the cooling area regularly (product page). Avoid opening the lids often while cooling.

Power and batteries

12 V DC 3 A adapter, 36 W; mains only, no battery. Cooling holds 3-7 C (37.4-44.6 F) and warming runs 25 minutes before each meal (product page: 20 minutes) to 26-40 C. Manual-feed openings aren't pre-warmed.

Wi-Fi and the app

None: app-free, set on the device's display and buttons. Each bowl has 2 meals with day cycles (left bowl Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun or daily, right bowl Tue/Thu/Sat or daily).

Warranty

1-year warranty from purchase date for defects not caused by misuse (consumables excluded). Support: support@uahpet.com.
