Food jams

Dry kibble 2-15 mm; the FAQ says to avoid large, triangular or crescent-shaped pieces. To clear a jam, unplug, set the battery switch to OFF and remove food and debris. The tank comes apart into the hopper rotor and dispensing grid (twist the grid anticlockwise).

How to reset it

Press and hold the Reset button on the back for 3 seconds; for pairing problems the FAQ says to wait for the feeder to restart afterwards.

What a reset erases: Not stated by PETLIBRO.

The FAQ says changing Wi-Fi networks doesn't need a reset.

Setting it up

  1. Place it on a flat, hard floor near an outlet with good Wi-Fi.
  2. Open the side latches, lift the main unit off, fit the bowl holder and stainless bowl on the base, then refit the main unit and close both latches.
  3. Press the button on top of the tank to lift the lid, open the desiccant box and put one of the two desiccant bags in each slot.
  4. Connect the 5 V 2 A adapter and wait for the self-check, then turn on the battery power switch to enable the built-in backup battery.
  5. Install the PETLIBRO app and follow its steps to join Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz).
  6. Add dry kibble (2-15 mm), set schedules and link pet profiles (for camera recognition) in the app.

Cleaning

Unplug and switch the battery off. Only the tank lid, food tank (with rotor and dispensing grid), bowl tray/holder and stainless bowl are water-safe: wash and dry them. Wipe the main unit and bowl base with a damp cloth and dry them; never wash them with water. The FAQ says clean the whole feeder about every 30 days, and the bowl and holder every 1-2 weeks. Replace the two desiccant bags every 14 days (earlier spec check). No dishwasher statement.

Power and batteries

5 V 2 A adapter plus a built-in rechargeable backup battery enabled by the battery power switch. Per the earlier spec check, PETLIBRO says the battery keeps Wi-Fi, camera, recognition and schedules running about 48 hours. If it won't power on, check the connection and that the switch is ON when relying on battery (FAQ).

Wi-Fi and the app

2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi (PETLIBRO app). Recording and playback need a Video Cloud AI subscription (earlier spec check). PETLIBRO's offline-schedule FAQ is published under Granary 2 (AF105), not this model.

Warranty

24 months (manual). Support: support@petlibro.com.
